I loved the cover, it totally drew me to the book and even though I thought the premise sounded a little silly I wanted to read it. Kenneally gives just uordan football-related details to keep the reader interested and well-entertained, but not too much as to put them off.
Review: Catching Jordan by Miranda Kenneally
My sister is a tomboy and I don’t think I could pay her to wear a dress or her to miss a soccer practice. It’s also – or perhaps even most of all – a book about relationships and how they affect us, shaping our personalities, dictating our choices, putting us down and building us up. She acted like a guy, cussed like a guy, and did just about everything like a guy. It’s not Jordan’s fault that she relates more to the guys than girls.
I want more books like Catching Jordan, and can’t wait for Miranda Kenneally’s next novel -Stealing Parker -to be out! What ctaching I say, I can relate to this book Jordan lives and breathes foot-ball, she’s been playing since she was seven. I would like to read next book in mirnada series because it follows different characters and I am curious to see whether I’ll like that one better. Enter Miranad Green, just transferring from Texas.

Yes people, there are girls out there kneeally play football. View all 16 comments. She is one badass girl who plays rugby better then any guy in her team, she is the only female member of her team and she is one of the guys. I think he was right most of the times and everytime Jordan had problems with his behaviour, I was on his side. First of all, a girl playing football?! Because we all make mistakes. Then this new guy, Tyler Green came into the picture and Jordan had a crush on him despite of being threatened he might took the spot as a Quarterback.

Catching Jordan (Hundred Oaks, book 1) by Miranda Kenneally
Ty doesn’t seem to be distracted by the cheerleaders, like her other teammates that are always throwing themselves at the players. I mean 15 was a time where I didn’t really know who I was as a person, so maybe that’s why I enjoyed it so much. He was her best friend and he supported and loved her for who she was, and their friendship was so strong. Too many stereotypes and misconceptions were thrown out there for me to just let it slide.
And it was so refreshing to have a YA cathcing deals with sex in a natural way.
You want a wonderful book with a strong-minded heroin who plays football? Amazon Music Stream millions of songs.
He seemed cool, but whatever. As a girl, she suffers with some Since Jesse’s Girl is due for publication, I thought this would be the prefect time to re-read the entire Hundred Oaks series, and my Book Depository voucher sold me on purchasing physical copies. What I didn’t like about her was that she was supposed to represent feminists when in reality she wasn’t feminist, not at all! She was rude and I honestly didn’t feel the tomboy element of her bar the football element. Past experiences have lead her to completely shut the same sex out; she feels like they’re all the same.
The cheerleaders were there, but not all of them were stuck-up. It was a bit soap opera like, cliche, and our leads seemed ridiculous with some of joddan actions to the point I couldn’t stop rolling my eyes.
Great banter and Jordan could hold her own with all of them. All of the above. Shey Yes, there is. So many high school stars simply fizzle out when it comes to college ball. I found this read refreshing. And for the first time, Jordan’s feeling vulnerable. Withoutabox Submit to Film Festivals. Overall I’m honestly not sure if two stars is too harsh or too kind for this book. This is the first book I’ve read that has made me laugh to the point of tears I’m so glad I wasn’t in public and now that it’s over, my heart is so filled that I desperately want to hug this book, marry it, and have it’s babies!
During this time, I was able to understand stuff a whole lot better, and connect with the characters even more. Goodreads helps you keep track of books you want to read. Lurve triangle at its worst.
Anyways, I liked how Henry supported Jordan with everything, even when supporting her was breaking his heart. Ok, she is probably the most oblivious girl ever to walk the planet in a few millennia in matters of the heart but, aside from that, her catchiny is real, funny, honest and even though I am not sure I can relate to a teen quarterback, she’s one of those characters that are instantly likable, if only catchlng the fact that she’s not afraid to stand up for what she believes in.
ClairBarrons and now Henry?
